WSU baseball bat research
Footage from baseball bat research at Washington State University's Sports Science Laboratory. Washington State assistant professor Lloyd Smith led research there to develop the highest performing composite baseball bat and the best performing baseball, which will be used by Philadelphia Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins when he tries to break the Guinness World Record of 576 feet for the longest batted ball.
