Fire Competition

Fire Science students in the Spokane area gathered Friday, Feb. 19, 2010 to go head to head in competition in basic firefighting skills. It was a chance to show off what they've learned in professional-technical education through the Spokane Skills Center. There were a couple dozen students in fire gear vying for a chance to go to the state competition. The Skills Center is a place where high school students can get a peek into a career field of their choice. Check out their offerings at skillscenter.com
