Police shoot, kill man

Spokane police have shot and killed a man who allegedly fired a weapon at them this afternoon at Madison and Indiana streets in Spokane, according to witnesses. The man’s body is on the lawn outside a Spokane Tribe of Indians building at the southeast corner of the intersection.

My prayers go out to the crazy shooters family and also to the Police Officers who were forced to kill him in order to protect the citizens.
I apologize to these fine Officers in advance for all the ignorant comments that have been made & will be made in the future regarding this unfortunate turn of events (ie, Gary Garrison comment). God Bless you

What a descrase Spokesman! What has this world come to!? A man is dead and you plaster his picture on the front page of the paper and internet! The article and the police have indicated his name has not been released. I pray all of his friends and family already knew about his death before you showed them in living color! Next time, use some tact on the pictures you print!!! My prayers and condolences to this mans family.

The disgusting front page picture of a dead man is a new low for the Spokesman, reducing it to the level of the National Enquirer.

How many children - and adults - were traumatized by seeing this on the kitchen table first thing in the morning ?

This is “If it bleeds- it leads” yellow journalism.

That’s the SR for you, no respect, honest in reporting, integrity or journalistic standards. Whatever it takes to sell their dying paper, even if it’s a lie or inappropriate - they’ll do it. They’re “reporting” against the police is so biased and lie filled it’s not even funny, now they are showing the dead man - real class act guys. Our officer do a wonderfuljob in a very hard professions and the “Media”, with all their twist, spins and lies, makes it a thankless job. SR is about he lowest of the pond scum.

I just want to say thank you to the police officers who responded to this call. This happened 2 blocks from where I live and I’m thankful I live in a city where brave men and women will still put their lives on the line to protect my neighborhood.

Kudos to the officers for their brave work. Another example of the brave ones running toward the gunfire, not away. I am glad they are all safe.
Shame on the other cowardly posters that jump to judgment of the officers’ actions. Its these spineless types that would never have the courage to do the work that these officers do every day.
Shame on the Spokesman for publishing that photo of the deceased man. Regardless of who he is, or what he has done, it is tasteless, disgusting, and disrespectful for that photo to have been published. I’m sure there were plenty of photos of the covered body that could have been used.

It is, that we live in a world where police officers can literally be shown by argumentative proof which can be backed up with physical evidence, and still be outright allowed to continue to work and act in the fulfillment of duty in the role of sworn police officers of a police department such as in Spokane, and it would not make any difference whatever, to their careers, in any advancements of their careers, or in seeking other law enforcement job opportunities, or even to become major factors in a police department, even the Spokane Police Department.

I was the outright victim of a criminal act by officers of the Spokane Police Department, and these officers will undoubtedly be guilty of the crime of First Degree Murder upon my death when this occurs.

How horrible of me to re-post the first part of what I had wrote. I just hate it when things are taken off that are true. Oh don’t name names of murders though. Horrible thing to do, I know. But I just so want to accuse the good police officers who will one day be my murders. Forgive me Saint Peter for telling the truth.

I am, that upon my death, if my death is caused by the deterioration of my health which had been caused by a false and fictionally conceived arrest, of which the investigating officer at the scene, stated well within my hearing of what actually happened, which did not include a crime at all, and then arrested me for a crime he could not have believed that not only did I not commit, but was was a crime that was completely fictional. Because of this false arrest, my health has deteriorated considerably and in all likelihood, will be the premature cause of my death because of this complete deterioration of my health due to the crime I had been arrested for and convicted of, for the sake of lies and outright perjured testimony, of not only this horrible woman, Theresa Rawson, 2008 W. Mansfield, who utterly perjured herself under oath to a complete extent, but also to the two police officers who testified in my joke of a trial, both of who perjured themselves to convict a man they could not have believed to be guilty of the crime they lied under oath to convict.

Officer Honiker, (spelled correctly, I hope), not only perjured himself in the definition of perjury itself, but also in the spirit of perjury. He intentionally mislead the court in to the false assumptions of my motivation for committing the crime I had been charged with, and through untruthful testimony, (of which I might add, stated I broke through a locked fence gate of which would be a logical impossibility, as to do so, I would literally had to have removed 4 screws that secured one of the two latches of the gate latch onto the fence gate out of solid wood reaching over a 6’ foot fence), proved a false concept of motivation to the court against a man he knew full well was not guilty of the crime he attempted to convict him of. Officer Lidia Gorman, the transporting and arresting officer, also lied under oath, denying a material fact she could not have mistaken for what she had said.

It is in all this, that when I die, if I die because of the loss of what was excellent health before this crime that these officer and this woman committed against me, that through the very laws of the State of Washington, that if someone dies because of a crime that has been committed against them, it is then legally considered First Degree Murder, of which, not only will this horrible woman be guilty of, but the two officers of the Spokane Police Department, these two sworn police officers, will likewise be fully and completely guilty of illegally causing the death of someone, and will, upon my death, will be outright guilty of committing the crime of First Degree Murder, by which the laws of The State of Washington directly state by definition murder, that these officer and this woman will be guilty of the crime of murder upon my death.
