Sandpoint's new highway bypass
Sandpoint residents have been discussing the idea of a highway bypass to take U.S. 95 off the downtown streets where congestion slowed traffic to a crawl on busy days. Now, the bypass, called the Sand Creek Byway, is nearing completion and will open June 29, 2012.
