Aaliyah Johnson, Mead girls basketball
Aaliyah Johnson, 18, of Mead High School, was given a chance to make two shots at Thursday night’s GSL Championship game against Gonzaga Prep. A promising player until the eighth grade, Johnson has transverse myelitis and can’t use her right arm. She has served as the team’s manager all four years of high school.
