Last Day of the Christmas Bureau

The Christmas Bureau, the holiday charity that tries to give a book and toy to every kid whose family asks for help, finished its nine-day run Friday, Dec. 19, 2014. Thousands of families and their children were helped with gifts and grocery gift certificates. But fundraising continues to try and pay for all the Christmas cheer shared by the bureau, which is staffed by volunteers and has been spreading holiday spirit for more than 60 years in Spokane.
