A man died while driving near the intersection of Nevada Street and Empire Boulevard on April 23. After apparently dying from a medical-related issue, the man, whom police said was in his 70s, crossed the median, hitting a trailer that pushed into a parked truck in a parking lot near the intersection about 5:30 a.m., said Spokane police Officer Teresa Fuller.
