The state filed its response over the weekend; it was filed by Newal Squyres of the Boise law firm Holland & Hart, who is the current president of the Idaho State Bar. He's been designated by the state as a special deputy attorney general to handle Lowe's lawsuit, which charges political pressure, sex discrimination and more in her dismissal; she was ITD's first female director.
