Otter signs 37 bills on Friday, including wolf control $$, campaign disclosure measures

Gov. Butch Otter signed 37 bills into law today, including 14 House bills and 23 Senate bills. Among them: HB 112, Rep. Greg Chaney’s bill requiring PACs to file 48-hour notices of contributions of $1,000 or more shortly before the election just as political committees supporting a measure, or candidates running for office, are required to do; SB 1160, allocating another $400,000 in state tax funds to the Wolf Depredation Control Board for next year; HB 17 on “autocycles,” or three-wheeled cars; and SB 1072, Sen. Mary Souza’s bill to require campaign finance disclosure in elections for school boards in districts with 500 or more students. You can see the full list here.
