Of all the exhibits and displays that go up each year during the legislative session, today’s “Buy Idaho” show is the most extensive, showcasing Idaho products and services on the first, second and third floors of the Capitol rotunda. From candy to screen doors, from magazines to moving services, from Bigelow Tea to almonds roasted with fresh local apples, dozens of Idaho vendors have set up booths, and some are helpfully giving out shopping bags that browsers can use to hold all the free samples, brochures, discount coupons and more. The show, which is free and open to the public, runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. today.
