Eye On Boise

If it doesn’t pass, Plan B…

The Senate has now gone at ease, with Senate Majority Leader Bart Davis, R-Idaho Falls, advising senators to stick around for further instructions around 11 a.m. In the House, Speaker Scott Bedke advised the House of the schedule for the day, including the House Ways & Means Committee meeting to introduce the bill, reconvening on the floor of the House, and sending the bill to the committee for a joint hearing, after which it would return to the House, then go to the Senate. “This is all assuming that it passes,” Bedke said. “If it doesn’t, of course, we will go in Plan B.” He told the House, “This is going to take your patience and your ability to hurry up and wait.”
