Otter appoints Magistrate Michael Reardon to succeed 4th District Judge Cheri Copsey

Gov. Butch Otter has appointed longtime Ada County Magistrate Judge Michael Reardon to the 4th District Court judgeship from which Judge Cheri Copsey is retiring. Reardon has been a magistrate since 2004; he presided over the Ada County Mental Health Court as a pro-tem district judge from 2010 to 2014.

“Judge Reardon understands Idaho and our local issues, people, communities and values,” Otter said in a statement. “He will be a tremendous addition to the great judges serving citizens from the 4th District bench.”
