Most Idaho school districts haven’t yet addressed policies on gender identity

Guidelines for how schools should address gender identity among students have gone unaddressed by most Idaho school districts, the AP reports; the guidelines were submitted to schools for the first time this year by the Idaho School Boards Association. The ISBA sent out the policies as a model for districts as they consider their own policies on such issues as keeping dress codes gender-neutral and non-discriminatory treatment of same-sex couples during school dances. AP reporter Kimberlee Kruesi has a full report here.
