Here’s a news item from the Associated Press: BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Ada County election officials will recount votes for the county Commissioner District 3 seat at the request of an unsuccessful candidate. Sharon Ullman's request for a recount of six precincts comes after she lost in the May Republican primary to current Commissioner Dave Case. The Idaho Attorney General's and Secretary of State's offices will oversee the recount on Thursday. Case had been declared the winner of the May election with 53 percent of the ballot, or more than 1,000 votes. Ullman had previously held the District 3 commission seat until Case unseated her in the 2012 election.
