Senate passes final two bills, prepares to adjourn

The Senate has quickly passed its final two bills: HB 650, which passed on a 26-8 vote, providing the funding for a $5 million grant program to community health centers should HB 644a pass the House tomorrow; and SB 1297a, the online voter registration bill as amended in the House, which passed 34-0. Now, the Senate has sent its formal committee to notify the governor that it’s completed its business and is ready to adjourn sine die.
