Idaho Republican Party seeking new executive director

The Idaho Republican Party is seeking a new executive director, with the news that the current executive director, Lyndel Strong, will leave in September; she’s been in the position since April. Jonathan Parker, state party chairman, said in a statement, “I want to thank Lyndel for her hard work, dedication, and willingness to serve the Idaho Republican Party in the position of executive director. I consider myself lucky to have had the opportunity of working with Lyndel in multiple roles for many years, and Lyndel will be missed. Although we are sad to lose Lyndel in this position, we are extremely excited and supportive of her decision to focus on her family as she and Adam get ready to welcome a new addition to their family.”

The executive director position is full-time and reports to the party chair. Applications are being accepted until Sept. 15. Parker said the party is seeking an applicant “who is organized, hard-working, motivated, and most importantly, a person who exhibits honesty, sincerity, and is willing to serve the citizens of Idaho and the members of the Idaho Republican Party with fairness and respect.”
