Tonight’s “Idaho Reports” on Idaho Public Television includes an update on the events of the tumultuous first week the of the legislative session; co-host Aaron Kunz’s interview with BSU School of Public Service Dean Corey Cook about the new Idaho Policy Survey; a report on the challenges of Idaho’s probation and parole system and this year’s legislative proposal to pay for mental health treatment for recently released parolees and probationers; a report on arguments at the Idaho Supreme Court this week on public defense reform; and co-host Melissa Davlin’s interview with state Health & Welfare Director Dick Armstrong.

On the pundits panel, Idaho Falls Post Register reporter Bryan Clark joins me, Jim Weatherby, Kunz and Davlin to discuss the latest and what’s at stake. “Idaho Reports” airs at 8 tonight on Idaho Public Television; after it airs, you can watch it here online any time.
