Otter to attend Trump inaugural

Idaho Gov. Butch Otter and First Lady Lori Otter will depart Wednesday for Washington, D.C., where the governor will take part in a Medicaid roundtable in the Senate Finance Committee hearing room on Thursday morning; and the couple will attend the Congressional Leadership Inaugural Celebration, a black-tie event at the Library of Congress; and the Red, White and Western Inaugural Celebration that evening on Capitol Hill. On Friday, Otter will attend a private breakfast with other governors; Trump’s swearing-in ceremony; the inaugural parade and events associated with it; and the Liberty Ball at the Library of Congress.

Otter, a former three-term congressman from Idaho’s 1st District, will return to Idaho on Saturday.
