Full Senate won’t take up transportation bill ‘til morning

The full Senate will not be debating SB 1206, the big new transportation bill, tonight after all. “We have heard from a few of you that you would like to have a chance to reflect more on the transportation bill,” Senate Majority Leader Bart Davis, R-Idaho Falls, told the Senate. “That’s a fair request. We will finish up with it first thing tomorrow morning.” The $320 million-plus transportation bill was just introduced and passed out of committee today.

The Senate instead will take up four appropriation bills, and then adjourn until tomorrow, Davis said.
