Senate refers SB 1206, new transportation bill, to Transportation Committee for hearing, goes at ease

At 3:56 p.m., the Senate gaveled back into order. Immediately read across the desk was SB 1206, the new transportation funding bill. Also read was a joint memorial supporting an F-35 million at Gowen Field, HJM 9.

Senate Majority Leader Bart Davis, R-Idaho Falls, announced that the Senate now will go at ease to allow for the Senate Transportation Committee to meet for a hearing on SB 1206. He said about 10 minutes after that committee adjourns its hearing, the Senate will reconvene.
