There’s a full house for the House Transportation Committee hearing on SB 1206, even though the only notice of the meeting was the announcement right before-hand on the floor of the House. But the audience consists almost entirely of senators and representatives, lobbyists, and reporters, plus a couple of state officials.

Sen. Chuck Winder, R-Boise, is presenting the bill to the House committee. “This bill represents a series of negotiations that have gone on between the House and the Senate, particularly over the last six weeks,” he said.
