Bogus Basin set to hire 500 workers; plans job fair Sat.

Bogus Basin, Boise’s non-profit, community-owned ski resort, is planning to hire 500 employees for the upcoming winter season, and has scheduled a job fair this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at its Boise office, 2600 N. Bogus Basin Road.

“We have a range of opportunities available that will appeal to potential employees of all experience levels,” said Brad Wilson, general manager. Benefits may include a season pass and transportation to the mountain.

There are openings for full and part-time positions, along with weekend and holiday-only jobs, including ski and snowboard instructors, ski lift operators, food and beverage workers, day care attendants, auditor and more; some full-time, year-round positions are open, including director of Nordic operations; accounting manager; and director of ski patrol and risk management.
