Of science standards, futility, and radiator caps…

In my Sunday column, I take a look at the House Education Committee’s move last week – amid much confusion – to try again on deleting part of school science standards, a move several committee members dubbed “futile” as the Senate already has decided to approve the standards in full. Also, changes to a bill that were described as not a “radiator cap,” but just “replacing the heater hoses and the thermostat.” You can read my full column here.
