In surprise move, Rep. Perry gets Otter’s health-gap coverage bill revived for possible full House vote
Here’s a link to my full story at spokesman.com on Rep. Christy Perry’s surprise move today to revive Gov. Butch Otter’s “Idaho Health Care Plan” proposal and send the dual-waiver measure to the full House for debate. “For six years, we have worked on trying to get coverage for those people in the gap,” Perry said, calling this move “probably our last shot.”
Perry, who’s leaving the Legislature after this session to run for Congress, said, “Idaho has an opportunity to be a leader here.”
