South Perry Farmer’s Market joins other businesses in district art walk tonight

Spring is on its way, right? You know what that means? Time to hit up your farmers market and enjoy art walks! As you know, the South Perry Farmer’s Market has been going strong through the winter at the gym next to the Spokane Buddhist Temple from 3-6pm at 915 S. Perry. It's an easily accessible and reliable outlet for fresh and whole foods in a district that is lacking those options, adding to the strength of the South Perry District.

The district does an excellent job working collaboratively so it make perfect sense they would take part in the neighborood's first art walk today with art exhibits and entertainment at many of the businesses.

The event is brought to you by the people of South Perry Pizza and supported by the South Perry Business and Neighborhood Association. The plan is to have an art walk on the third Thursday of every month.  After the jump is the lineup and be sure to wear green:

Original art @ Odyssey Youth Center, 1121 S. Perry
Mark Lee from One Match performing
@ The South Perry Farmers' Market, 915 S. Perry
Tea information and samples @ Lorien Herbs and Natural Foods, 1102 S. Perry
Paintings by Dennis Strasser @ South Perry Pizza, 1011 S. Perry
Woodwork by Dan McGrew @ The Lantern Tavern, 1004 S. Perry
Original artwork @ The Altamont Pharmacy, 928 S. Perry

The Farmers Market is open from 3-6 p.m. and the other venues are open during the same time.
