New Format for Pedestrian Plan On-Line Questionnaire

Want to help make it easier to go from here to there on foot? The City of Spokane Planning Services Department is working on an update to the City’s Pedestrian Plan and is offering a key opportunity to get involved.

Due to a compatibility issue, the Pedestrian Plan questionnaires have been combined and reformatted to a new online system. If you have already taken the questionnaires, there is no need to retake this one. However, if you have not, please take a moment to complete the Pedestrian Plan Questionnaire to have your voice heard

The “Pedestrian Questionnaire” is designed to gather information pedestrian wants and needs in the City. The survey should take less than 10 minutes to complete. Go here to participate in the survey.

The Pedestrian Plan Update will include ways to promote pedestrian safety and access to help ensure that Spokane is a safe, convenient, and attractive place to walk. The Pedestrian Plan will establish a pedestrian network emphasizing safe routes to school and connections to transit. The routes include streets, walkways, and trails that connect schools, libraries, parks, neighborhoods, and commercial areas throughout the City. It will identify priority street segments along these routes for targeted improvements over the next 20 years.
