Review: Camp Coeur d’Alene is a nice escape close to home

It’s nice to have a great RV park option close to home.

Camp Coeur d’Alene -- just 15 minutes from downtown Cd’A on Wolf Lodge Bay -- delivers with many exceptional qualities.

It’s situated far enough off Interstate 90 that you don’t really hear the traffic noise, and the rustic setting along a hillside feels remote.

Once you’ve checked in, you can stroll on the beautiful grounds, go hiking on the surrounding hillside or take out the park’s paddle boat or canoe.

Some of the other amenities you’ll find at Camp Coeur d’Alene:

  • Free firewood.

  • Wifi that actually works.

  • A heated pool.

  • Beautiful tent-camping spaces near the water.

  • Clean restrooms.

  • A nice camp store with friendly staff.

You won’t find any bargains at Camp Coeur d’Alene. Back-in spaces with electrical and water go for $40. Full hook-up back-in sites are $50, and pull-through full hookups are $60.

Still, we’ve paid a lot more for a whole lot less.
