Photos: Trip to Fort Worden, Sequim on the Olympic Peninsula

After a short ferry ride from Edmonds and a drive across Hood Canal, we were in another world.
The Olympic Peninsula is special, and for this trip, we kept our focus on the waters of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. We stayed at two beautiful state parks, Fort Worden, and Sequim Bay. Both provided excellent camping and scenic views.
On our third day, we stayed at Dungeness Spit Recreation Area, a longtime favorite with beautiful camping and hiking along a beach that stretches far out into the strait.
