There's no getting around it. The world is a very dark place right now. We're definitely not trying to downplay everything that's going on, but we took a small measure of comfort when Instagram took us time traveling.

A year ago, we rolled into the campground at The Gorge and the following night, Brandi Carlile blew everybody away. It was one of the most magical experiences, made even more memorable because we didn't have to drive home after. We met cool people, ate good food, ran into friends, all against that stunning backdrop of the gash in earth created by those famous prehistoric Missoula Floods.

When will we get back to that special spot? Have no idea. But for just a minute or two, let's indulge in a flashback.
