In this Friday's column, we're writing about our "happy place," the location we keep remembering from our travels last year.

We stayed in dozens of wonderful places, but for some reason, Redwood National and State Park in Northern California keeps popping into our minds as the happiest place we visited, filled with magical memories. We stayed for a week at the amazing Gold Bluffs Beach campground, enjoying great views, hiking and cycling.
