Going Mobile

Lake Pleasant RV Park is aptly named

Nearly two years into Our Grand Tour, we've stayed at lots and lots of RV parks. Some are just OK, while very few are truly special.

Lake Pleasant RV Park in Bothell falls into the latter category. It's been family owned and operated for more than 30 years. You can see the attention to detail around the expansive grounds.

The sites take full advantage of the proximity to the small body of water. Sorry, no swimming allowed. When we took a spin through on a sunny spring day, there were plenty of ducks on the pond, though.

This peaceful setting is just off a busy stretch of road, but you don't hear the roar of traffic. It's close enough to the city that you can easily get down to some of the major attractions. Yes, we're staying home and staying healthy, but some day we're going to get back to exploring. Heck, Pike Place Market is still partially open

The reason we were checking out the park is because we're considering putting our condo in Shoreline on the market and truly going full time down this RV path. We wanted to check out the options available in the area and this goes right to the top of the list. Any others to suggest? Please send suggestions to GoingMobile@spokesman.com.
