Sen. Larry Craig’s office reported this afternoon that it was receiving mostly favorable calls after an audio recording of the senator’s interview by an arresting officer with the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport police was released and aired widely across the nation. The recording provides new detail on Craig’s version of the events leading up to his arrest in a restroom-sex solicitation sting and later guilty plea on misdemeanor charges, along with a heated exchange between the senator and the officer over Craig’s truthfulness -- Betsy Russell/Eye On Boise.
