Idaho College Offers Casino Course
Hit me! That's just one of the gambling and card playing commands students may soon be learning when the College of Southern Idaho's Community Education Center begins offering casino classes.Sylvia Jensen, the college's director of community education, says the class provides an opportunity for students to learn the fundamentals of shuffling and betting and proper decorum for dealing blackjack, poker or baccarat. Students will learn online using interactive software and instructional videos. After completing the course, students can get job placement and support from the curriculum designer, Texas-based Gatlin Education Services. Tuition is estimated at $1,400, Stevens said. Stevens said the course is a good bet for people in southern Idaho looking for a career change considering the state's proximity to the gambling crazed state of Nevada/Twin Falls Times-News.
Question: Would you have a problem if North Idaho College offered a similar class?
