I plan to spend the weekend taking care of the few things that are left to get done before winter -- stacking wood, replacing a snow cap and mebbe putting the garden to bed a bit. (Note to self -- Ask Alice Rankin how to protect that white-rose tree that I bought this summer.) Otherwise, I don't have much plan. Mebbe I'll do some reading. Or walk along the lake. Or simply vege in front of a college football game. We'll all say goodbye to the Mariners, who'll close out the season at least 10 games over .500 and mebbe 14. All in all, they've done well this year when you consider they haven't have a winning year for four years. Now, if the Cougs and Vandals could only win this weekend ... Here's your Wild Card ...
