After listening to part of the Idaho-Hawaii game on the radio and watching part of the WSU-Arizona game on TV today, I'm already looking forward to Gonzaga basketball. The Cougs are getting worse and worse under Doba. While Akey had Idaho headed in the right direction. But this already is looking like a lost season all around on the Palouse. Oh well, mebbe there's another state title hanging out there for Lake City High. It's going to be a long fall other than that. But we can take comfort that the City Council elections in Coeur d'Alene and Post Falls should be fun. Mebbe we can catch lightning in a bottle again -- and the challengers in the CDA election will reprise the Tinfoil Brigade of the Rami Amaro judge race. Be still my beating heart. Meanwhile, this Wild Card should help us get through Sunday ...
