Local Blogs — The Xmas Newsletter

he JD's have finally written our first Christmas newsletter. Every year, I get them from friends and relatives updating us on events that happened since the last newsletter. I have felt inadequate when I receive them because I have never taken the time to really do a newsletter. A newsletter now appears to be expected since we have two school-aged children and I don't have a "real" job. So, why wouldn't we do a newsletter? Writing a newsletter is like walking a tightrope. Maybe because I assume that everyone reading my letter is as cynical and irreverent as I am while I read theirs. There is a fine line between informing your friends of events throughout the year and coming off as bragadocious/MamaJD. More here

Question: Do you write Christmas newsletters? Do you enjoy getting Christmas newsletters?
