Huckleberries Online

In Case You Were Wondering …

Huckleberries Online has learned what that weird construction east of the City Park bandshell is. Parks Director Doug Eastwood tells HBO Central that it's a rinse-off/cooling-off station, depending on whether you're coated with sand from the beach or sweat from playing basketball, jogging, or practicing for a marathan. Doug sez that the station was necessary b/c beach goers regularly clog drains in the adjacent bathrooms by rinsing off their arms and legs in them. The $2000 project (a quarter of which was paid by Avista's re-licensing fees) will be ready for use by June.
