A Berry Picker sends along a message circulated this morning in Coeur d'Alene high schools: "The Coeur d’Alene School District currently has 240 homeless students and CHS Baseball is sponsoring a game between the CHS Vikings and LCHS Timberwolves May 5th, 6 pm at McEuen Field. There will be a food and clothing drive, 50/50 raffle, homerun sponsorships and direct donations. Flyers are available at either office." The event is called "Home Runs 4 Homeless Students."
