Chris Fillios, a candidate for Commissioner Rick Currie's position, said this re: his opponents in a recent mailer: "There is an incumbent who has hurt not only the real estate community, but also the public at large by delaying the Comp Plan and subsequent ordinances. The buck stops at the top, and the delay in completion of the Plan is unwarranted. This incumbent has been in office for over seven years and we're still operating with 1973 ordinances and a Comp Plan written in 1993. It's no wonder there's no consistency in his decisions.
