I was sorry to hear of the recent death of Aree "Mad Mary" Cameron, 62. Born in Bangkok, Thailand, she made a mark on Coeur d'Alene cuisine by opening Mad Mary's Thair Food Restaurant on Sherman Avenue and later Northwest Boulevard (near the old Pines), featuring Asian food including a hot, hot, hot dish, called "Light My Fire."
