Arpie: Who Is David Larsen?

Arpie: From Betsy's blog: “Democrat David Larsen of Coeur d’Alene filed for the District 5 House seat now held by Rep. Bob Nonini, R-Coeur d’Alene, who is otherwise unopposed.” Anyone know anything about this guy?

DFO: David Larsen is a legitimate candidate who has run for legislative office before from District 5. He wasn't successful, of course. District 5 has morphed into one of the most dependable Republican districts in North Idaho. If David qualifies for the ballot by getting enough -- 50? -- write-in votes, he'll ensure that someone is available during debates to question Rep. Bob Nonini's tenure as chairman of the House Education Committee and voting record.

Question: Any other thoughts re: David Larsen's write-in candidacy for the position now held by Rep. Bob Nonini?
