Post Falls Store Leads In Booze Sales

A state liquor store in Post Falls has become Idaho's top-seller of booze, with an influx of customers from nearby eastern Washington helping drive up sales of distilled spirits. Brent Layton lives in Post Falls and says sometimes he feels in the minority at the local liquor store, where he finds himself frequently outnumbered by shoppers from Spokane. Buzz Everett was among such customers last week and says he makes the roughly 20-mile drive to the northern Idaho store to buy his whisky because it's cheaper. Everett says he can buy a bottle in Idaho for $11.80, versus $17 in Washington/KXLY. More here.

Question: Did you know that booze was much cheaper in Idaho than Washington?
