Christie Wood: The Sheriff (Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, Ariz.) also comes across as quite baffled that people think he is a bad guy. He mentioned many community service projects he is involved in. Sheriff Joe seems really old school law enforcement to me and some of that is fine. I don't think any of us want the jail to be a Country Club, but he should have spoke more to the allegations of human rights violations and the law suits that have been filed.
