In a sign that things are looking promising for the incumbent, County Clerk Dan English won his second online poll today, capturing 56 percent of the vote in the Coeur d'Alene Press poll, with 326 votes to outdistance Republican challenger Cliff Hayes' 36 percent and 211 votes. 50 voters were undecided.
