Bank Robbery Time Line

  • 12:48 p.m. Wells Fargo Bank worker sez that vehicle stopped by police is not the one used by robbers to get away.
  • 12:38 p.m. Officer asks dispatcher how long between time of Garwood Elementary bomb threat and bank robbery -- and is told 40 minutes.
  • 12:29 p.m. Officer has Ford Probe stopped and now is asking for witnesses and/or video from Wells Fargo/Rathdrum to come and identify possible suspect.
  • 12:25 p.m. Deputies have followed a Ford Probe with male in black inside past Garwood Elementary and back onto H53 west toward Trails End/Rathdrum.
  • Noon: Sheriff's deputy has spotted possible getaway vehicle (possibly a Ford Probe) going n/b on Ramsey from H53.
  • 11:46 a.m. Patrol officers are looking for a silver "two-door Honda-type vehicle" that was seen leaving the Rathdrum Wells Fargo on H53.
  • 11:40 a.m. Wells Fargo/Rathdrum manager reports the bank has been robbed. One robber was in all black and the other had an orange hood. At least one robber had a gun. Manager not sure if robbers left in vehicle.
