  • 12:16 a.m. Swimmer refuses medical attention & is back en route to Corbin Park to see his friend in possible drowning incident in Spokane River.
  • 11:47 a.m. Deputies in boat have retrieved body & are looking for place to dock boat. CPR in progress.
  • 11:43 a.m. Deputy is on scene @ Windswept talking to survivor in possible drowning incident.
  • 11:37 a.m. Rescuers may have spotted possible drowning victim about 300 yards east of old Pleasantview bridge, on south side of river. Helicopter circling above. About 815 Madison/PF.
  • 11:33 a.m. 2nd male (about 20YO) reportedly has made it out of Spokane River to 513 Windswept/Post Falls, where resident gave him water and reports he appears sick.
  • 11:25 a.m. A construction crew working at the stateline has a boat that can be used to retrieve possible drowning victim. Med-Star helicopter has been launched. Chaplain notified.
  • 11:23 a.m. Resident @ Pleasant View reports spotting "something in blue" float by. Snorkeler was wearing blue tank top. Deputies will try to intercept at the stateline.
  • 11:19 a.m. Person who jumped into Spokane River to help possible drowning victim is stranded on other side, too weak to swim back across. Possible victim is being swept down river.
  • 11:15 a.m. Deputy on scene at Corbin Park reports a possible victim face down across the Spokane River from volleyball court -- about 30 yards away.
  • 11:08 a.m. Sheriff's dive team responding to possible drowning at Corbin Park/Post Falls. Witness sez swimmer w/mask & snorkle was caught in whirlpool, crying, "Help!" & then disappeared.

  • 10:15 a.m. Coeur d'Alene announcement: "As part of the 2011 Open Trench Project, Harrison Avenue will be closed between 4th and 5th streets Thursday and Friday. For more information, please contact James Remitz, Utility Project Manager, Wastewater Utility Department,769-2278."
  • 9:58 a.m. An unknown type of parking problem is reported @ 9th & Walnut/CdA.

  • 8:39 a.m. Vandalism reported to property in 2300 block of W. Apperson/CdA.
  • 8:36 a.m. Caller reports that a boat has been parked at end of Fjord/Rathdrum for 2 years.
  • 8:25 a.m. Landscapers @ Seltice Way & Seone/Post Falls find 2YO boy (originally reported as 4YO) in diapers, holding a blanket, wandering by himself.
  • 8:22 a.m. Erna @ North Idaho College is looking for a sandwich board used in a Robotics activity. Maintenance man recalls picking it up in a truck & putting it by sign shed.
  • 8:15 a.m. Woman reports she's being harassed by a man involved in an accident.
