The weekend is a gathering of military personnel and vets severely wounded in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. It was named after the character Lt. Dan Band in "Forrest Gump" who lost both his legs in Vietnam, played by actor Gary Sinise. AP story here. (AP Photo/Bruce Smith)

Question: Did you take any life lesson away from the movie, "Forrest Gump"?
