Vik Coach, AD To Visit Moscow
Re: Moscow High footballers concerned about homecoming game against No. 1 Coeur d'Alene
Greg Lee/SR provides the latest on Moscow's reluctance to play Coeur d'Alene in next Friday's Vik Homecoming Game:
- Coeur d'Alene AD Todd Gilkey is going to Moscow Saturday am to meet with parents and administrators in hopes of alleviating their cocncerns
- It should be noted that CdA AD Todd Gilkey and CdA head football coach Shawn Amos are Moscow High graduates.
- My guess is CdA would play its starters for a quarter and use subs the rest of the way.
- Coeur d'Alene just wants some sort of game because Homecoming is scheduled.
- HucksOnline received this Twitter response to the question: Is the game still on: "Yes. I understand the concerns are from a vocal minority."
