Frank Orzell & Co. finally filed proper paperwork that included their reason for attempting recall effort against Coeur d'Alene Mayor Sandi Bloem & council members Deanna Goodlander, Woody McEvers and Mike Kennedy. The reasons:

• S/he denied a public advisory vote and approved a plan to remake McEuen Park.
• S/he continues to approve excessive salaries for city employees.
• S/he consistently supports excessive spending of taxpayer dollars.

Orzell & Co. submitted a new list of 20 signatures including state Sen. Kathy Sims and school Trustee Terri Seymour again. A name or two appear to have changed. But basically it's the same list from yesterday. You can read City Clerk Susan Weathers' letter to Orzell, et al, and see the signatures here.
