Mixing Politics And Religion

We’ve all heard that if you want to avoid an argument or offending your best friends, don’t talk religion or politics. And especially don’t talk about them together. But Cody Hanson sees it differently. He loves his country’s past and doesn’t mind if once in a while religion enters the public debate. “It should have a place in politics,” the Twin Falls man said. “It had a place during our country’s founding. It’s in our Constitution; our state constitution has it.” But the Constitution was written long ago. Does religion have a place in politics and government today?If so, what is it?
